Q: QuestionCan you view the surveillance system from a nap while you're away on your phone?

- A:Answer Yes you can. It’s good for close up or distance. I’ve attached photos of both examples and also the screen with all camera views. Hope this helps. It gives you a step by step instruction guide. I’ve been using Swann for 5 years. I’ve had a total of 5 systems for both of my stores. I’ve replaced one twice but only because the quality continues to get better and I finally broke down and got the big system. That is the way to go if you have a need for 5 or more cameras. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask anymore questions. -Tracy. PS, one thing I will say is the image isn’t as crisp on my phone as it is on the monitor attached to the system. I’m imagining it’s because of the 1080p resolution. It’s super crisp on my monitor. So crisp that the police have commented on it and actually used it in a homicide investigation. (Sorry to go dark there but it just says a lot about the resolution.)

Q: QuestionDoes this system require WIFI in order to work? And as long as I do not need WIFI, can I still access from my cell phone?

Q: QuestionWe installed a Swan Security camera system 3 years ago. It has 4 cameras that are wired. Will my older swan camera work with this system? Do they use the same wire where I can just trade out an older camera and install the new using the old wire?
