You can cordinate this with Best buy's Geek Squad or call from the Swann partnered installers which is provided in the unit's paperwork. Yes you will need to have a TV or a Monitor to view 1080i quality graphics.

Once adjusted to your needs, you can remotely access your unit using the Swann Security application. For this an internet connection is required to the DVR.
