• It's not unlocked, but you can get it unlocked for about $10. It works on 2G GSM 850/1900 bands, and well as 3G WCDMA/HSPA/HSDPA 850/1700/2100/1900 bands, so you can use it in many different parts of the world, with many different carriers.
