A:AnswerSorry, I really can’t address your question but if your camera is a DSL camera the adapter should allow the lens to work. I am however just speculating. It’s a great lens so I hope it works for you.

I started photography about 10 months ago with a used Cannon SL1 and a used lens. Purchasing good lenses is key to good photos regardless of the low or high end of the camera. Good luck!
A:AnswerI have not heard of a recall. I have this lens and use it with a Canon M5 (mirrorless). It does struggle with birds in flight, especially if they are close to you. I would use a prime lens if you are shooting birds since they will focus more quickly. My Canon 70-200mm, f2.8 does quite well with birds in flight, for example.
