“Have read this 2020 model (5S535) has an issue with brightness and is darker than others or the 2019 model (525). Has anyone experienced this and what is the peak brightness level (NITS)?”

One snapshot of a brightness value based on a special lab test isn’t a full reflection of a TVs true contrast or luminance performance while viewing real content over a period of time.
