Hi Drew. The alerts you are referring to is likely from the impact sensor. When an impact is detected, the dash cam has alerts intended to notify users that the dash cam has switched from Continuous Recording Mode to Incident Recording Mode. To lower the frequency of these alerts, you can lower the sensitivity of the sensor by inserting the MicroSD card to your PC and adjusting the "Cont. Sensitivity" feature on the PC Viewer. We hope this helps! We can be contacted directly by phone (1-844-865-9273) or email (support@thinkware.com) if you have additional questions. Thinkware Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you hit a bump, your sensitivity is set too low. It thinks the bumps are incidents and the beep is notifying you that it saved that incident.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The dashcam will beep if it sensing overwhelming vibration, rumble strips or reflectors on the highway. Even a pothole can set it off, basically it thinks there is an accident or something.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's the event recording. In case you get into an accident, it records and protect the file and will not over write. Sometimes if you go over a bump, it will beep and store the recording in the Event recording folder on your card. Hope this helps.
