By default, the dash cam will automatically overwrite older video files once the microSD card is full and continue to record new video files.

No, once the SD Card is full the camera will automatically start to erase older video files and continue to record.

No, it is set up by default to automatically loop and delete the oldest recording. You can set it up using their software to warn you that the card will be full and it won't record anymore unless you format or delete.

The dash cam will continue to rewrite over old files. I would recommend using a larger size SD card VS the 8 GB card that comes with it.
