• No, it is set up by default to automatically loop and delete the oldest recording. You can set it up using their software to warn you that the card will be full and it won't record anymore unless you format or delete.

• The dash cam will continue to rewrite over old files. I would recommend using a larger size SD card VS the 8 GB card that comes with it.
