“I understand that notifications are important for the camera to notify you of warning messages. Some apparently disappear too soon or are difficult to read or see. How does this cam notify you if the camera is working and when there are problems. thx”

Hello Kathy, The Device will power up and say "Continuous Recording will now start" to inform you the device is recording. If there is any issues the device will have audible alerts informing you of the issue.
