Works well, good quality
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI had a cam bought from an infomercial, and this is a good deal. Good quality and sound, but a little difficult to setup on the memory card. Since there seems to be a limit to a memory card, you have to have multiple if going on a road trip and wish to archive the whole route, depending on how far you go, of course. The files get overwritten when space fills up, so after a couple hours be ready to swap out. But again, the quality of the video image is good. I only used the driving mode, no parking in case someone hits/jars the car when turned off.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Ease of use, Video qualityI recently sold my car along with my Thinkware F50 dash cam to my son. He recorded a very serious accident soon thereafter. The recording was very helpful to the injured parties and even though it recorded in only 720p the results were crystal clear. I bought this Thinkware F70 for my new car soon thereafter and will not drive a vehicle without one. This F70 records in 1080p and the Thinkware software is easy to use and flawless. Thanks Thinkware and Best Buy

Q: QuestionI understand that notifications are important for the camera to notify you of warning messages. Some apparently disappear too soon or are difficult to read or see. How does this cam notify you if the camera is working and when there are problems. thx
Asked by Kathy.
- A:Answer Hello Kathy, The Device will power up and say "Continuous Recording will now start" to inform you the device is recording. If there is any issues the device will have audible alerts informing you of the issue.
