Our sons car was parked in the driveway for a week, we did not have any problems starting his truck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, It depends what you are using to power the dash cam. If you are using the cigarette lighter adapter, it will depend if your cigarette lighter outlet is constant or switched. If it is switched, there is no power drawn from the battery. If it is constant the camera will draw power and you will have to unplug the camera when you leave the vehicle. If you have hardwired the camera to the fuse box, the camera will switch to parking mode when you turn off the ignition. Then in parking mode, the camera will power off after time you set or when the battery is drops below a safe level.
