“Does anyone know the difference between the S12 and the S12 EX?   There's no information on the "EX" version on the US Tineco Web site.”

• Hi SteveP, that is a great question! The EX is meant to signify having and Extra Battery [EX].

• I recently bought the Tineco S12 EX from Best Buy and pondered the same question and speculated there would be no difference. I ordered mine online and had it shipped to my home and it was dropshipped to me direct from Tineco. There is no EX anywhere on the product or package and I suspect BB adds the extra letters so there can be no price matching. I really really like mine and I’m so glad I chose this over the Dyson V11.

• And a hefty price differential -- $699 for the EX to get the extra battery and floor attachment.

• Thank you very much. I even asked Tineco this question and they responded with a comparison against the S12 Pro EX which is a different model altogether so even they seemed confused.
