• If it's not one of the listed compatible devices (Connects to TiVo Roamio OTA, Roamio, Roamio Plus, Roamio Pro, Premiere 4 or an XL4/Elite device), then i would say no. Best bet would be to contact tivo directly with the exact model of the unit you have and they can confirm compatibility with the mini.

• It works off of wifi. If you have a wifi internet connection, you will be able to use it.
