• Has to be same network. TiVo recommends wired, but I got it to work with a wifi range extender. Just set up a static IP on the TiVo Mini.

• You can download an app to your phone and download content to your device to watch while you are away from home. We have an antenna so I'm not sure if the cable/satellite providers will let you do it.

• It will not work remotely. While it is capable technically, almost no TV channels will allow remote streaming.
