“How does the traffic receiver work? Do I have to have my radio set to a station that reports on traffic while using the GPS? Or can I simultaneously listen to the radio station of my choosing while the receiver connects to another station on its own?”

Hi there, thanks for your question. The RDS Receiver will pick up the signal by itself, so you do not need to connect it to your radio and it will be possible to listen to the radio whilst using the accessory.
