• It does recommend rerouting but you can't expect instant information. If some JUST happened you could still get stuck. I have avoided many jams though.

• This GPS says how many minutes the traffic is delayed and it offers another route. You accept or not another route.

• Hi there PaPaJohn This device does not come with TomTom's 'Live Services', so the Traffic information is not 'real-time'. On this device, the traffic information is received by local radio signal. It seems as though BestBuy have got this information wrong - we have contacted them to have this amended. - Cameron at TomTom
