Can a second hard drive or ssd be installed? null

Sorry I misread your question the first time. You can REPLACE the hard drive, but you cannot add another one, there is only one bay.

I don't think a second hard drive can be installed but I did install my own SSD drive into the computer when I bought it and it works create. It doesn't look like there's another spot for a second drive. The bottom cover comes off to expose the hardware but when you take the bottom off you must gently pry on the sides around the buttons to get it to come off. The buttons are built into the shell of the computer that you take off.

No, there isn't a 2nd bay available to add a 2nd hard drive or solid state drive. However, if you would like to replace the HDD with a SSD you would be able to.
