Q: What is the graphics card with this laptop?
A: Please Be Aware: This computer does not have the Intel HD Graphics 6000 graphics card as advertised. It's advertised on Best Buy and Toshiba website that it does have the Intel HD Graphics 6000 but this is incorrect. If you check the Device Manager on the computer and look under the Display Adapter is will show that it has the Intel HD Graphics 5500 card. I also checked the display model at the store to confirm this information. I found out from Best Buy and Toshiba when I called that the specifications are not correct on either website. This computer has the 5th Gen Intel Core i5-5200U processor and only supports the Intel HD Graphics 5500 card. The newer Intel Core i5-5250U processor supports the Intel Graphics 6000 card.
Q: Will I be able to play Minecraft and edid videos or photos
A: We recommend checking the system requirements for the programs you plan on using and compare them to the detailed specs of the laptop, which can be found on the bestbuy.com product page. The Satellite Radius 15 laptops should run Minecraft and Photoshop just fine but it's always a good idea to check their system requirements.
Q: Are the mousepad/touchpad buttons loud, disruptive in quiet settings?
A: No.. I think you can expect the typing noise using any laptop. The mouse pad is fairly quiet when pressing. Stop pressing so hard!! Lol
Q: Is this the right choice for programming
A: i5-5200U with 2.2ghz. I wasn't expecting much out of the graphics card, but it is performing much better than I expected.
Q: Can a second hard drive or ssd be installed?
A: Sorry I misread your question the first time. You can REPLACE the hard drive, but you cannot add another one, there is only one bay.
Q: Will this laptop be eligible to upgrade to Windows 10 with no problems?
A: It now has it pre-installed, but even if it weren't then it would still be compatible.
Q: What is the average battery life?
A: A little over 7 hours on the Eco mode, and about 4-5 hours on high performance mode.
