“Are the mousepad/touchpad buttons loud, disruptive in quiet settings? some laptops have very loud mouseclick buttons that can be disruptive if I am typing while hubby sleeping, or in a meeting, library. I am giving up my 17" desktop replacement HP notebook for a smaller more portable notebook, but noisy mouse will be the deal-breaker!”

No.. I think you can expect the typing noise using any laptop. The mouse pad is fairly quiet when pressing. Stop pressing so hard!! Lol

Please try again later.It has a chicklet keyboard, which you can hear while you are typing in front of it, but generally other people in the room cannot hear it (unless you are pounding the keys). The mouse click is fairly silent though, you have to listen carefully to hear it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well I haven't paid attention to the volume of the mouse click on my touchscreen. This is my first touchscreen laptop. Gotta say I'm loving it! I use the mouse very minimally. Suggest hubby use ear plugs if the typing sounds are too loud! (The keyboard does have a click)
