• No cd/DVD on this model. I use the Internet for movies & music.

• There isn't any dvd/cd player in the unit. I was looking at picking up an external drive which they run anywhere from about $25 on up.

• It does not have a CD writer or burner the 15.6 inch model does. But then I looked at the ratings between the two and the 14 inch is a better machine. And for 30 dollars you can buy external CD writer burner.
