“I have very strong 2.4 and 5Ghz WIFI throughout the home. However, I have a few TVs that only connect to 2.4Ghz band that is very noisy in my neighborhood. Can this device be used simply as a 5Ghz to Ethernet "RJ-45" adaptor? Turning off Extender?”

I haven't specifically attempted to only leave 5Ghz on by itself but the option to cut off the 2.4Ghz band is available while leaving the 5Ghz on. I have used this device to grab the WIFI and plug directly into a device that was Ethernet only and it worked like a charm is the best that I can confirm.
