• Any router could have issues with lathe and plaster walls, this router can do the square footage, but you’ll just have to try it. The thicker the lathe and plaster, the more difficult and location will also play a role.

• Yes, it should. My house is about the same size and was built in the 50s. I have the router installed on the main ground level and I get great Wi-Fi coverage on all 3 floors of the house.
