• I think they could be used for anything that uses a common 120V on/off switch. I use it for a couple of fans. The app let's you make schedules, also.

• As long as the pump is below 15 amps it should. I'm not sure if the switch will handle the in rush current though. I would definitely contact the manufacturer. You also need to connect the switch to a neutral in order for it to work.

• yes, as long as you do not go over the rated amperage of the switch.. Also switch needs to be mounted inside
