If you can wire your pump and salt generator to this switch. It will work once you connect the switch to WiFi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually the AC current rating for this switch is rated at a maximum of 15 Amps. I would expect you pool pump may draw 20 Amps or more and likely is 208 volts. You should use a high current contactor designed for switching high current and use the TP Link smart switch to activate the contactor. That should work. Contactor will run about $30.
