“Does the camera make noise when it is tracking motion? Would the person that is the subject of the camera motion hear the camera moving to track them? Assume there is a small motor to move the lens so was wondering if it makes noise? thanks...”

That said, whether the subject would hear the mechanism may depend on various factors, such as how close they are to the camera when it is tracking, and how much ambient noise is present in the monitored area.
