I had another Tracfone called The Big Easy. I hate that this phone has been discontinued. Plus this phone ends calls abruptly. Please do not purchase.

If I were you I would check out the phone card deals on the tracfone website. My dad bought this phone and then purchase his time online and it was valid for a year, I don't remember all of the details for that plan. They may have at the store too. I just looked and the one he got was unlimited talk and text for a year for $200. I hope this helps
