Doing it the other way (dialing a code on your phone to check your balance) money is deducted from your phone minutes balance every time you use that function.

A:AnswerI too, am looking for a basic flip phone that does not have internet. I don’t want a phone that can have internet enabled or not, my son is on probation for a computer related charge and can only have a phone that has no internet access.
I’m sure there are plenty of others in the same situation, and plenty of family’s with pre teens who would like their child to have access to call or text, but don’t want them to have internet access. So please have a Tracfone available to us with basic talk snd text only!
