I usually spend $20 every three months. Beats what I was paying for Verizon for 700 minutes a month, of which my husband and I use less than an hour a month. I probably use my phone now more, because it's a smart phone, but still I buy a minimal time and it rolls over as long as you buy more minutes before your time expires. If you're a teen who is glued to your phone, you might need an unlimited plan. Depends on your usage.
