Yes, it does. Smartphones have separate buckets of units for voice calls, text messaging and data usage and have the Triple Minutes feature. For example, a 60 minutes “Pay As You Go” TracFone card redeemed on a smartphone will provide 180 minutes for voice, 180 text messages and 180 MB of data. Voice calls are charged at the rate of one (1) unit per minute. Text messages are charged at the rate of one (1) unit per text. Data is charged based on actual usage.

When I had my voice only Tracfone, (with double minutes), I got 400 voice minutes every time I bought a 200 minute card. Adding 200 minutes to this card, gives you 200 minutes of voice, 200 minutes of data, and 200 minutes of text. If you don't text or use the downloads, the minutes are wasted. I would much rather that 600 minutes go into one pool and you could use them as you saw fit.
