• My mom had a tracphone through total wireless. We did not renew the minutes and she cannot get wifi on it

• Hi. This is Cristy from TracFone Wireless. You can use the phone to connect to a Wi-Fi network without activating it. However, you cannot make and receive calls/text. You can activate the phone so you can use it for calling, texting and internet browsing.
