Your computer must be equipped with a Dolby Digital Live sound card in order to get surround sound through the Turtle Beach Elite 800. It will work on a Windows or Mac OSX, but if your computer does not have a DDL sound card using a digital optical S/PDIF output, you will just get enhanced stereo audio and not surround sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can connect them via 3.5 mm, but youre going to lose the surround sound ability. If your computer somehow has an optical audio out, then youre golden. Otherwise, you'd be better off getting the turtle beach 450.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does work once you connect it to USB port on your computer and it installs drivers. It was simply on Windows 7. However, as noted the sound is not worth the price tag on the 800 elite wireless headset.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use it with my computer as well, mostly via 3.5mm cable. Works perfect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know, it does. It was connected to my PS4 and my buddy borrowed it to play H1Z1. Seemed to connect just fine through Bluetooth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about Ear Force Tangos but I know for the Elite 800's you would need a sound card that supports DTS 7.1 Surround Sound for full effect, along with an optical output otherwise they would be no different than any other standard headset.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No and I spent a month with Turtle Beach support trying to get it working. Read my review when Best Buy posts it. They work, but there is a hissing white noise and very distorted audio quality. Consoles tend to have bad audio quality anyway so maybe that's why they don't notice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work, but the sound quality is degraded for some reason. Turtle Beach hasn't made a good driver to take advantage of the sound processor in the unit, I believe. If your PC has an optical output, it's definitely a must to use that over USB.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can not speak for flawlessly, as I have not used them on my PC much, but the limited time that I did, I had no issues at all. If you have an optical out on your soundcard, these should work great.
