This is a mobile jet pack. The antenna is internal. The power is from a USB C connector and like all USB is 5 V DC. If you want range, get a 3W linear amp booster. This receives a signal from the cell phone and boosts it to 3 Watts to hit a cell tower up to 50 miles away line of sight. The MIFI receives the Verizon wireless signal and changes it into a wifi wireless network signal. I hope this answers your question.
