• Yes after getting it. Verizon told me their policy changed as of Sept 1 and all phones are locked up to one year. Returning the phone. Verizon wireless support does not know anything.

• yes it is. i believe you can use the sim card from any carrier but check w/ motorola.

• I contacted Verizon on this issue. They stated that all Prepaid phones are unlocked cause they are paid in full. Now I dont know if thats true, but I am going to buy one and find out. Its half the price on verizon and they said it should have no problem connecting to att.

• Locked? When you first turn on the phone it directs you to set up an account with Verizon pre paid. You can get the $45 plan or $60 plan. It's a good deal either way. Definitely cheaper than what you would pay with a regular plan
