Customers are impressed with the Moto G4 Play 4G LTE's camera quality, price, and battery life, frequently citing these as major strengths. Many also appreciate its ease of use and the expandable memory options. While some users noted minor issues with bloatware and network compatibility depending on the carrier, the positive feedback on core features outweighs these concerns. The phone's overall performance and features are considered excellent value for the price.

Motorola has hit it out of the park on the G4 Play. It has fantastic build quality, Android Marshmallow OS (Upgrade-able to Nougat) Removable 2880 Mah battery, Micro SD expansion and lots of storage (16GB).. Five stars.

I got the Motorola "Moto G4 Play" phone with Verizon carrier. This phone was for sale in the "prepaid" phone section of the cell phone department and it came in a box. This phone is big with a nice clear and bright desktop/screen. I like the numerous ring tones and sounds too. What I really needed it for was to book hotels for our annual road trips. The Best Buy tech set it all up for me at the store and then instructed me on how to use it. He was very nice and helpful; I needed that. I needed a case/cover for it too because I can be clutzy and fortunately he had a nice Incipio one for it. Ask for that if you are afraid of dropping your phone! I also got a glass protector for the screen and I prefer to use a stylus with it as well. As you can tell, I'm not very tech savvy but I can see its got Android operating system and a Lenovo/Motorola maker. One feature I really like is using your home wifi with it to avoid using up all the Verizon data. Even so, I did get a decent $40.00 a month pay as you go deal.
So, overall the phone looks nice, sounds great, and it was on sale too at almost half off at Best Buy so look for a deal on it.

i had a galaxy j1 for verizon pp but kept running out of space and had to keep deleting apps (even though i had a 32 gig micro sd card). some apps could not be moved from internal storage. the sales associate steered me to this phone, which had just become available. not only did it have more available on-board storage, it has expandable (so i could still use my sd card) storage, a removable battery (hello galaxy 7), but it cost less than others that verizon pp offers. verizon probably doesn't make much $ from we who use pre-paid and hopes that we will go over our allotted data, which might be why they offer few phones, but this really is a great phone. display is gorgeous, bettery is very good as is sound. very little bloatware compared to other verizon phones. seems sturdy and just the right size. i don't shoot many pix w/ my phone, but the few i have came out very well. this is probably the best phone at this price. the few features i missed, i was able to find apps for- like a notification light for messages. it syncs up to all of your google apps. even after 1 month i still find something new and cool about this phone. so glad i bought it.

This is surprisingly a really good prepaid phone it's got 16gb of storage and the camera is decent the screen is durable I've dropped it like a million and 1 times still no cracks but the 16gigs is the best part cause my other prepaid phones ran out of space in no time because my kid likes to download games on to my phone also the updates but overall great value for the price I haven't had any technical issues or nothing nice screen size too I'm in my 9th month of owning it operating it is really simple

A good phone has to function well, and this does. It may not be everything you want, but "wants" come with a cost. My wife has a phone that reads her fingerprint, takes her pulse and has a slightly larger screen, but it costs 5x more, has shorter battery life and gets hot! The Moto has a quick processor, adequate camera (particularly if you learn how to use it), minimal bloatware and good battery life. I actually wish it was smaller, my old Moto E actually fit in my pocket better, but I needed more on-board storage and appreciate the camera flash. I got this on sale for $59, buy I've seen it for as low as $39!

So far this phone has surprised me! It isn't too big for my small hands to use. I am using this for my business and so far so good. I need to check my e- mail, social media and have the best connection wherever I go to pet sit. I need to be reached at any moment for prospective clients and this works perfect. I would have given it a five star, but there are some things that could be improved. For example, the rotating from horizontal to vertical & vice versa sometimes does not work with apps. I had to download a better camera because I take a lot of pictures & like to edit them for posting. One thing that I wish was better was the battery life. It can last a full day, but I have to remember to charge it every night. Other than that the phone and for the inexpensive price it works great. I did not want to have to be on a monthly plan; I like doing prepaid so I am not stuck in a contract. I did a lot of research on Motorola phones before I decided on this phone. I was surprised that the phone had good features without having to fork out hundreds of dollars for a smartphone. I am type of person that does not have to have the newest phone that comes out. I need it for e-mail, social media, talk, text, messenger, maps, and weather. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

So far this phone is great. The pictures that I have taken are really nice, I have good service (even not bad inside my home), once I figured it out, setting up contacts wasn't bad, and texts come through well (which was becoming a problem on my "dumb" phone). Wish instruction manual was included in the box or at least the minimum. I also wish that there was notification on who has texted me on the screen. I leave my phone in my toolbox (which I'm not supposed to do, lol) and with my old "dumb" phone, any text messages I received would show on the screen. I will say that prepaid is much, much less expensive than a regular cell phone if you don't need much 4G data (which I don't). With Verizon prepaid I have 3G's of high speed data and then it throttles back. I don't stream anything and just do an occasional internet search so 3G's are fine. The service is a flat $40 per month plus tax - no extra fees that ran my postpaid plan up close to another $10 per month. Plus I was able to keep my phone number when I went to prepaid. I was a little upset with Best Buy as my store would not activate my phone in store because I bought it online. I don't think it should have mattered - the phone was purchased from Best Buy, they just didn't have this model in the store at the time of purchase so the purchase was made from Bestbuy.com. I would definitely buy this Motorola Play again.

I paid less than $50 (including shipping) for this phone. This is the best prepaid phone I've had to date! Easy to use and has 16gb of storage. I'm able to have more apps on my phone and the updates are a snap. You get what you pay for, so, if you are looking for an $800 phone for $50, no can do. If you are looking for a reasonable priced prepaid phone where you can download apps and watch YouTube, you will get that with this phone.

Big upgrade from earlier Atrix - larger screen, newer OS, faster processor, just better all around and a bit better and faster than the previous Razr Maxx. Had Best Buy transfer my contacts over and either the phone was previously used or the computer used to transfer my contacts over screwed up. I had about 20 names & numbers 'added' to my contacts - none of which I recognized and all with midwest area codes (I don't know anyone there). In fairness, that computer had an issue and had to be rebooted before completing the transfer, plus the phone did look in new condition. Not top of the line phone, but definitely a best buy during the promotion.

I bought this phone for under $60, and though I must admit that the phone is not the best, but it is much more than what I was expecting. The calls are clear, the swype texting works real good (even with 'Spanglish'), and the speed is pretty good. I would recommend if you are looking for a cheap replacement.

I first bought this phone for my GF and she bragged about it the whole time..I myself was trying to hold out for the S8 but grew impatient. I bought this phone for under $75 about 2 months ago and let me tell you I couldn't be more happy! The battery life is great, there's no hiccups or freezing, the camera take good pictures for being a 8mp and the sound from the speaker when playing music is loud enough to hear in a semi-noisey room. I will still upgrade just because I like the lastest and greatest but this phone was and is a great purchase!

I purchased this phone for my son. He is always dropping his phone, cracking the glass, or dropping it the water. This phone has gorilla glass AND it's water proof! It's a prepaid phone, so he's not locked into a contract. I also purchased his first prepaid card so he can start using it right away. To top it off, it's an awesome phone! This is one Christmas gift I know he will love and use every day!! Purchasing it on line through Best Buy was easy and very convenient. If he has problems, there is a store nearby and the people are always happy to help!!

My old Moto G was showing it's age. It just couldn't keep up with all the new apps and data. So I had to upgrade, and the new generation Moto G was just the ticket. More memory, better camera, bigger screen it's great. One thing I don't like are a lot of pre-loaded apps that are useless to me. I am happy with my new phone.

My original Motorola built Moto G needed to be replace. Ran out of memory and flash broke. This Moto G 4 is made by Lenovo. It has a great camera. Many features. It has an openable back, replaceable battery, expandable memory up to 128 GB. The only thing that would make it better would be if I could get a Otter Case defender for the phone. I am hard on phones. It is not a Samsung 7, but it's still a great buy and phone for $69.00.

Probably one of the best prepaid phones I have ever purchased. It runs smooth. It comes with no bloated apps right out of the box. The battery lasts a long time. The screen this move and bright and the apps just pop right Out. I have Verizon through my job and I occasionally jump to an iPhone but I will always keep my Moto G4 in my backpack at all times as a secondary phone or my MP3 player loaded with all my music.

I have only had my phone for a little over a week, but I already love it. It fits my hand comfortably and has great features. The Moto G4 Play battery lasts for a couple of days, while my old phone's battery struggled to make it through the day. The photo quality is good but it's no DSLR! (I love photography so I prefer my DSLR.). By the way, this IS a Moto g4 Play..the box has it on it! I just joined Verizon Prepaid and will never go back to contracts. Got this during last week's sale and this phone was definitely worth more than what I paid for. Definitely a "Best Buy!"
