Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Moto G4 Play 4G LTE's camera quality, price, and battery life, frequently citing these as major strengths. Many also appreciate its ease of use and the expandable memory options. While some users noted minor issues with bloatware and network compatibility depending on the carrier, the positive feedback on core features outweighs these concerns. The phone's overall performance and features are considered excellent value for the price.

I have been a fan of Motorola, and this doesn't disappoint. If you want a phone with only a few frills, and just works for a good price, this is it. Its volume is loud, and it isn't full of bloatware. I would like to have a little better camera that can export to DNG. Cheap, effective and fun! Great choice

This is my first smartphone and outside of having to learn the intricacies of the Android operating system, the phone was a very good buy and a more than adequate entry level phone. Added an SD Micro card to expand memory with no problem. Audio clear, volume good and battery life seems to be good.

It was slightly underpowered for what I needed so I went through this on to the the E4 pretty quickly. With that said I am a fairly high end user but I insist on a budget price. If you have lesser demands on your phone it would be great. Call quality was great 4g service was flawless.

I have never connected this to cellular, and never expect to, which leads to my biggest complaint - a permanent notification insisting that I complete my activation. No thank you. I use this primarily as a streaming music player via Chromecast Audio. Along with the occasional game or whatever. Sometimes I take it in the car so that I am not utterly dependent on the lame maps Android Auto restricts you to. It's also good to have a compact extra device with a GPS (and downloaded maps) when hiking. I like the user-replaceable battery. I like that expansion micro SD cards can be mounted to extend internal memory (emulated) rather than the classic kludgy 'move app to sd card.' And who knows, if I ever find myself in need of a somewhat insecure Verizon phone, I'll already have one.

Inexpensive Android phone that performs well for it's price and gets the job done. Call quality is good, GPS always works without issue and is quite accurate. Enough storage to install a lot of apps, SD card also helps for storing other types of data, i.e videos and music.

I bought this phone on black Friday. It is a great upgrade to my old Moto E. Faster, bigger better screen and better sound quality. I understand the camera is better too, but I am not much of a photographer. One thing I did notice is that it works much better with the Google Ply store.

This is a great phone for the money. I no longer require $2,000,000.00 phones (sarcasm). This phone has been holding up for me with the things I need for it to do. Its prepaid, 16gb of memory, and fast enough for me. I like the size and operating system. I would purchase again.

My old Moto cracked so I switched to HTC because I couldn't find another Moto at the time. I should have waited but anyways I scooped this up on sale and I am in love with it. Lots of memory, smooth operation. You can't go wrong with this phone. It makes everything easy

I've had the phone about two months now. It has been good no issues. Only thing I miss is an led notification light. Great screen. Very responsive. Decent sound. Decent camera. Good call quality. It's a decent phone that won't cost an arm and a leg.

Love the 16 GB memory and with a memory card you will never have to worry about deleting files or moving them to the cloud. The Google girl is far superior to Siri and this has so many sweet features like easily adding gifs to text messages.

It is a really good smart phone. I has all the capabilities as the more expensive phones, just at a cheaper price. The calls are clear and gets good reception everywhere I go. This phone is light but yet feels like it is quality made.

It's a nice little phone. Inexpensive but does all the same things the expensive ones do. Just add an SD card and you have all the memory at a fraction of the price.
