• If you are going from regular cell service to prepaid, no you can’t keep your number. You will be issued a new one. Only prepaid to prepaid you can keep the number.

• Yes you can. Either have Verizon customer service help you or switch your sim card from one phone to the other one. Didn't know this trick until someone did it for me on my new phone.
