If the sound bar is a SmartCast Soundbar then the SmartCast App will control the soundbar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The tablet has no IR emitter so it can't function as a standard universal remote. It can control things that are on your wifi network, but I haven't had much luck with that. I use a Logitech Harmony for most activities and only really use the tablet to stream music to the TV or for running the settings app. Honestly, you could do that with a smartphone, so the tablet is largely redundant. I still recommend the TV since the picture quality for the price is outstanding.
