Reasonable 4K Goodness *update
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've already reviewed previously but since I kept the TV for reasons I'll explain below, I wanted to give my update. As I mentioned before, there are better alternatives if you have the $$$ but for the price and actual quality, picking this product is a no Brainer. The picture out of the box is OK but you can always calibrate to your liking. I played with the color settings and I'm totally happy with my picture. The black as you've probably heard is the best black aside from an oled TV. Viewing this TV in a dark room is a must. It's amazingly beautiful & I'm just talking about cable/satellite signal. Upconverts quite well. 4K movies are jaw dropping. HDR does work well with this set even though it doesn't have a wide color gamut. I've seen better HDR sets but who wants to spend thousands? This set does its job and does it well. There are only a few HDR content on Netflix and if you've upgraded your acct you'll see "ultra 4k"on them. If you go to Netflix on the included tablet though you can get to see" dolby vision" on certain movies. I picked the Do Over. Looks terrific. I'm not a gamer so I don't have any of the issues most people have when connecting a new Xbox One S & trying to play a UHD game or watch a movie UHD bluray... VUDU has alot of UHD titles but you have to pay premium cost. So to sum up... Looks great. It's definitely a 4K, Has HDR, Dolby Vision, ample hdmi inputs, nice look and nice looking stand. End result : I got it on sale for $797 & I'm very happy.

M55-D0 4k UHD TV Shadow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Vizio M55-D0 4K UHDTV. Upon delivery and setting it up, I couldn't get the settings right (or so I thought). I kept noticing a shadow on the lower left hand corner. I did research and found out that the pixels on that quadrant were burned! It's a brand new television set! I called Vizio and they asked me to provide pictures of the shadow as well as the serial number. Upon review, they promptly sent a new one, had it installed and took the damaged one away. This is above and beyond their manufacturers warranty, so I'm pleased! Now the picture is brilliant and vivid as it should have been in the first place. However, I'm more than satisfied with the replacement TV and the picture it displays.

Vizio M Series 4K TV with HDR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is awesome, with 2180p resolution and HDR the picture quality is great, but the sound can use some amplifying. I use to watch 4K movies and to play on my Xbox One S.

Great upgrade from old projection TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thoroughly enjoying this Vizio. The picture is amazingly sharp and clear; colors are vibrant. One of the reasons for purchasing it is because a family member bought a Vizio a few years ago, and has been very pleased with its performance and gave a good recommendation. Good value for the price.

Vizio Tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought a New Vizio Smart Tv from BestBuy because my Sharp Aqous had developed Green Pixelated Lines through the picture. I am still learning about the TV since this is my First Smart Tv. One thing I am Not Happy with is that the GeekSquad Tech did Not Bundle all the Cables Neatly as to Not Present Eye sore when looking at the TV itself. Also the Main Remote is an actual small Tablet computer which is a Neat Idea.

Absolutely Love
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my tv a few weeks before Christmas.. I did a lot of research on TVs and brands and I decided that for my price range this was my best option and boy was i right! This tv does everything, and it's fairly easy to work. It is a flat screen so if you want "booming" sound then you will need to buy a sound bar but for me and my son this is perfect.

Nice for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great quality for the price. Even after having to replace the tv once because it went out after two weeks my replacement was quick and no hassle from Best Buy

Q: QuestionHow does XBox 1 S work on this tv, I heard there was some issues with it going in and out or not working at all.
Asked by jesterm.
- A:Answer Yes the Xbox one S and this TV don't play well together. It has to do with the firmware update on this TV to enable the HDR 10.what happens when you turn the HDR on the Xbox and on this TV it causes the video to go black for about 10 to 15 seconds and then come back on and it does this every 15 to 20 minutes. It happens when you're watching Hulu plus Netflix or playing a 4K Movie. I had to return my TV because of this problem and there are people on YouTube that are having the same problem with the Xbox and this television so I recommend if you are Xbox on her and you want to use the HDR 10 stay away from this TV until they fix the firmware update if you want a TV to go with your Xbox one S, I recommend the Samsung 55" KU6300

Asked by jphuff.
- A:Answer VIZIO released the HDR firmware last week... so the product now supports HDR10 and DolbyVision. Picture looks incredible

Q: QuestionI'm interest in buying this TV But I want to know if it completely support the ps4 pro 4k image and HDR Content
Asked by Jose.
- A:Answer long answer... pretty much, most of the time. This TV uses the Dobly Vision HDR standard, PS4 Pro and Xbox One both use the HDR10 standard. Vizio released several workarounds via firmware updates recently. You will need to have your PS4 Pro connected to HDMI port 1. That is the only supporting port. You will need to then go into your TV settings on your tablet/app, then to the input section. You will find a setting for HDMI port 1 called "subpixel rendering." You will need to turn that on. That's Vizio's workaround to add support to HDR10. Initially it was very glitchy and would cause the screen to occasionally go completely black with nothing other than a hard reset of the console to restore the picture. Last week they released a new firmware update for the TV that improved that glitch. I haven't had the issue since the update, but am not holding my breath! Please note that only HDMI port 1 is 2.0 and has the subpixel rendering option, so if you want to use other HDR devices (Roku, 4K Blu Ray player), you'd have to swap ports to 1, otherwise you wouldnt have HDR. The next Vizio model up, the P series, has HDMI 2.0 on all it's ports, but has the same sub-par HDR10 workaround. If you don't want to chance the sometimes glitchy workaround and want more than one HDMI 2.0 port, you might want to look at something else with both HDR10 AND Dolby Vision, and several 2.0 ports.

Q: QuestionHow wide is the stand? Will it fit on a 48 inch wide table? I see the width of the full tv is 48.8 inches, but no info on the stand.
Asked by rust.
- A:Answer Thank you for a great question on our SmartCast™ M55-D0! At its furthest, the stand legs are 44.05" apart. With this, it should fit fine on a 48" wide table. If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to reach out to our Support team at 844.254.8088. Thanks again and have a great day! -Collin
