Yes the Xbox one S and this TV don't play well together. It has to do with the firmware update on this TV to enable the HDR 10.what happens when you turn the HDR on the Xbox and on this TV it causes the video to go black for about 10 to 15 seconds and then come back on and it does this every 15 to 20 minutes. It happens when you're watching Hulu plus Netflix or playing a 4K Movie. I had to return my TV because of this problem and there are people on YouTube that are having the same problem with the Xbox and this television so I recommend if you are Xbox on her and you want to use the HDR 10 stay away from this TV until they fix the firmware update if you want a TV to go with your Xbox one S, I recommend the Samsung 55" KU6300
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This tv works with the Xbox one s. you will need to use the HDMI port 1 but it will work. The tv will need to be up to date and there is a setting you have to select on your smartcast tablet remote but it works!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to exchange this tv for the Vizio P55-C1 because the screen was blacking out on me while on my Xbox One S. After the switch, I've been playing my Xbox one S, Netflix, and 4K blue rays without any blackouts. I had to manually download the new firmware update to the new tv via flash drive because the 2.2.7.4 update wasn't released to my tv just yet.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had the same issue even after the update does not work well with the Xbox one s. If you are not going to use it for that it's a good buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Currently, this and the P series DO NOT support HDR gaming on the Xbox One S. It will play UHD blu ray in HDR (which looks amazing) but you will have to turn off multi color supersampling for Xbox games to look normal. There is supposed to be an update coming out within the next month or two. I learned the hard (and expensive) way.
