A:AnswerYou can’t have two lines open at one time from one phone. It’s autonomic when you put one call on hold and try to answer/retrieve another call from one of the other lines.
A:AnswerHi - The VTech CM18445 is not compatible with the AVAYA phone system. It is designed to work with analog telephone lines commonly found in residential setting.

A:AnswerIn order for the AA to respond to a incoming call there needs to be a line available to receive the incoming call
If you have two - four lines, and line 1 is in use, the AA will answer a call coming in on the next available line
If all of your lines are in use, the caller will receive a busy signal
A:AnswerSorry, I cannot answer this question as I don't have any additional phones added. The manual does mention conference call capabilities and I "assume" that means with the additional 6 phones that you can add. It has many features, more than I will ever use. I just needed a traditional 3-line phone for my office and wanted to avoid moving my phones to the internet.
