In order for the AA to respond to a incoming call there needs to be a line available to receive the incoming call If you have two - four lines, and line 1 is in use, the AA will answer a call coming in on the next available line If all of your lines are in use, the caller will receive a busy signal

This phone seems to have plenty of features to offer that I have yet to and probably will never explore. It does exactly what I need it to do. I can answer any of three lines, has three different ring tones, see the time and date of a call, etc... Not many choices out there at this price point. Good luck.
