• Yes it will work in that laptop. But do remember that it is a drive with no information on it you'll have to have an OS disk or USB to use your computer if it is your only drive or clone the one you have to the drive.

• Yes, it will. My laptop is an HP Pavilion G6, but there are now two standard "plug" fittings. If what you see does not fit in the slot, remove the black plastic plug cover to make it fit in your machine. Or vice versa.
