“I have a Lenovo computer. I take thousand of photos that I use a memory card to put them on my hard drive. I need to protect my photo files. Will this external hard drive do that job?”

Definitely! I use this to store videos and images (all >3GB) and no data loss so far. No problems retrieving or uploading to drive and no problems with space allocation. We use it frequently and it has held up well in the 3months or so that we've had it. Happy clicking!

Yes. This is perfect for backing up your machine. There is built in software that will backup your machine automatically.
