Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No the 4tb hard drive is just a bit too thick to be a ps4 internal replacement. you can plug it in via usb and have it be your default install location though
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It wont replace the internal drive, but will be an added option to store games or media on. I have mine hooked up to my Xbox one. In the xbox setting as well as ps4 you can choose where you would like your games to be stored either on the eternal drive or external. You would choose to store games on your external drive. This device will work great. If you can spend more money I recommend going with an SSD for a little bit more boot/write speed for launching and downloading games.\ As far as storage size I recommend 1TB at the least. Once you buy the product and connect it to your ps4/Xbox one You will go into setting to configure and set it up as a storage for games. You can go to the Playstation website for more detailed instructions on set up. Same with xbox on Xbox Website. or YouTube. It's easy and straight forward.
