1. Close all the files you have open on the drive. 2. Right click on the My Computer (or This PC on Win10) icon and select mange. 3. Once that window comes up go to Disk Management on the left side. 4. Right click on the drive letter (should be listed at the top). 5. There is an option there to change the drive letter and paths. 6. Select the drive, click change, select the desired drive letter and then hit OK. Another way to get the Computer Management screen up is hold down the windows key and hit R to open a run prompt. enter in "compmgmt.msc" without the quotes and hit enter. Then pick up from step 3 above.

That depends on the version of Windows you are running. If you are running Windows 7 or newer, you can use Disk Management to change the drive letter. Just be careful not to modify the settings on C drive or you will be in a mess. Once you're in Disk Management, right click on the E drive and click on "Change Drive Letter and Paths" It's pretty intuitive from there.

Go to Control Panel (if Windows 7 or 8), select Administrative Tools (you may have to change the "view by" to "small icons" to see all of the Control Panel Options), select "Computer Management", then click on "Disk Management", do a right-click on E: drive, and select "Change Drive Letter and Paths"

Win 10. Next to start button in the Search Windows bar. Type "Disk Manager" (Should respond with "create and format Hard disk partitions") Left click to select. It will open up the "Disk Manager" interface. Find E: drive, right click on it, left click on the option to "change drive letters"

Goto Control Panel and view all - Then select Administrator Tools, Then select Computer Management - Then under Storage you will see Disk Management (There you can right click and change the drive letter.
