Yes, I store all of my steam games, including triple A titles like GTA V and it runs them without any problem.

I don’t see why not. When you go to download your program you need to make sure you save it to that specific drive. Your computer will default to its own internal hard drive. I use mine as extra storage for games (Fortnite, Siege, Overwatch, etc.) and it works fine.
