Can I replace my fireplace switch with this? null

It will replace any electric switch. This switch is really a timer that links to your electric outlet via wifi. It's no different than your existing switch. Electric part of it same as your existing switch which consist of red, white, black, green wires. The only difference that this switch differs from regular switch is the WiFi connection that serves as a manual clock timer, only through WiFi connection, whereas the manual timer has to be connected to an electric outlet and set the time to desired timeframe to switch the circuitry on/off at desired time. That's all. But as a convenience, it serves in a giant way. It does everything on its own at desired set time. Manufacturers are shy from extensive details, because they tend to make it seem as if it's something of a more complex and complete piece of science rather than a timer switch. I don't have a direct answer, but you may find your answer by looking at the wires for the fireplace switch and compare to a light switch.

The switch replaces any one-way switch that you would have/use. As long as the fireplace is only controlled by the one switch you should be fine!

If your fireplace switch is just on on/off switch (not temperature or blower control), then this should work fine.

As long as it is a 110V single pole switch, (black wire, white wire and ground) it would work. Don't know of any fireplace switch that would be anything other than this. Just remove existing switch and wire the WeMo in it's place. You would then have to replace the switch face plate, which is included. Download app to cell phone and follow instructions on pairing it with your home WiFi.
