From my experience, if the Wemo is plugged into the wall outlet and you plug an extension cord into the Wemo plug, Alexa, or whatever smart speaker you have, will turn on the entire cord. You can however, plug a power strip directly into the wall outlet and then put multiple Wemo plugs on the power strip and name each one accordingly to each device. Just make sure your power strip has a surge protector and is in a place where your WiFi signal is strong enough. Hope this helps.

Yes, but not individually. Alexa will simply serve as an on/off switch so she will turn everything plugged into the plug on or off. Also, something else to think about is these plugs work best with electronics that would work if you simply plugged it in, i.e. fan, lamp, etc. They don't usually work well with TVS If you are trying to turn them on with Alexa because even if Alexa turns the switch on you will most likely have to turn the TV on separately.

Alexa will be able to control the Wemo on and off. All devices connected to the extension cord will turn on and off at the same time.

Yes. I tried this with multiple lighting fixtures. The plug is on/off, and the use of the extension cord doesn't affect the connection to your home WiFi network. The WeMo smart plug uses the WeMo Bridge, which (I believe) in turn connects to a digital assistant like Amazon Alexa.

Yes. The Wemo smart outlet controls electricity to whatever is plugged into it, so when it turns off, everything plugged in turns off and vice versa.
