A:AnswerMy repair person told me to buy an extended warranty if you get an ice maker. Also, if your refrigerator has a crushed ice setting, don't use it. The ice crusher is the part of a refrigerator most likely to break.
A:AnswerI’m not sure about this specific refrigerator, but I looked up Whirlpool and found that their appliances are US made. See below:
In the US, Whirlpool has nine manufacturing facilities: Amana, Iowa; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Cleveland, Tennessee; Clyde, Ohio; Findlay, Ohio; Greenville, Ohio; Marion, Ohio; Ottawa, Ohio; and Fall River, Massachusetts.
A:AnswerThe dimensions are accurate (they were when I bought mine 7 months ago). You do have to leave space in the back (a couple of inches for the electric and water supply). My doors are out about 5 1/2 inches from counter depth, just right for my space. The case goes almost to the floor so the width needs to be considered if it is a close fit with 1/4 round floor molding.
A:AnswerMudd if you have any questions or concerns with door, please reach out to us. The hole you refer to may be a part of the ice maker/Bin, but we are not sure of the location you speak of. We are more than happy to look into this more for you, US: 1-866-698-2538
Hour of Operation:

Please locate the Refrigerator's model and serial number before calling.
A:AnswerHello, the occurrence of rust on stainless steel is usually related to environment and improper cleaning solvents (ie All Purpose Cleaners ect...). If you have your unit is a climate controlled environment and use solvents made specifically for stainless steel appliances, you should not experience and issue with rust. We hope this helps!
