“The washer unbalances constantly no matter how carefully it is loaded. We have resorted to washing sheets one at a time which means it only unbalances 50% of the time during the cycle instead of several times each wash cycle.Is it just total junk?”

This does not happen to me except once when I was washing down pillows. I recommend calling the seller.
