Can you use just the spin cycle alone? null

Try this method " select the RINSE/DRAIN & SPIN cycle and deselect the EXTRA RINSE option. In this case it cancels ALL rinsing for the cycle. This is how you get a spin-only cycle."

There is NO SPIN CYCLE. But there is a rinse and spin cycle, which uses MORE/ADDITIONAL water. So much for high efficiency

This is why I hated my top loader. The lid locks, you can’t adjust the temp or amount or time your clothes wash. I’ve been trying to just drain my clothes for the past two hours it keeps re rinsing and getting off balance and when the lid opens everything is still soaking. Maybe the people who build washers should try doing laundry. I’m about to just do everything by hand and line dry. It would be faster. !!!!!!!!!!

Thank you GCK105 - Your suggestion for RINSE/DRAIN & SPIN cycle and deselect the EXTRA Rinse Option worked great!! I have a Whirlpool Model W11037201A (faucet in machine). I am printing it and taping it on the machine so I won't forget how to do it!!

I am not sure but I used the rinse and spin setting to get the spin l needed.

I was able to drain/spin after switching from auto sense to deep fill. I didn't use the extra rinse option. It immediately drained.

You deselect extra spin but it will start to add water to level out so just pause and try to level your load better and start back when it’s level it will only spin but you have to pause it at least Once to get it to stop adding water and just spin.

Actually there’s a trick when you hear it start to add water open the lid it will reset it and they only add water to level it out so make sure it’s as level as possible when you reset and it’ll start to spin

After selecting rinse and spin and of course making the load balanced. I eas sble to push extra rinse light off before starting load. Thanks for the info, sure was helpful.

Actually there’s a trick when you hear it start to add water open the lid it will reset it and they only add water to level it out so make sure it’s as level as possible when you reset and it’ll start to spin
